Who is behind Ideas Union?
A group of (mostly Australian) creative professionals — PR, marketing, engineering, IT, finance, agricultural science and more — who’ve had commercially viable ideas stolen many times by companies who say things like: “There’s 50 lawyers on level 7 — do you have deep pockets?”
What “professions” will Ideas Union protect?
Membership is reserved for recognised professionals from association-backed fields. Please note: “real estate agents”, “sales managers”, “plumbers”, “office administrators”, even “CEOs” may think they are professionals, but hey, they ain’t.
Why is Ideas Union a “for profit”?
Because a good idea should be profitable for the inventor: “we’ve invented the concept, so we should be able to benefit from its operation.” (For what it’s worth, it won’t be all that profitable — there are a lot of costs in running a business like Ideas Union.)
