Individual Member: $1000 USD

For Individuals & Small Companies

Designed for creators and smaller organisations who want to securely register and store the commercial details of their ideas. Our core mission is to protect people from the power imbalance of large corporations.

Eligibility:

Individual Members must belong to a company with fewer than 1,000 employees.

Membership Includes:

• 12 months of access from the day you join

• Unlimited Comcept™ registrations (registration fees apply per Comcept)

• Secure idea registration, storage and retrieval of relevant documents in case of disputes

• Negotiation support and legal services (IU paid 25% of a successful outcome, if involved)

In addition, all members receive:

• The IU newsletter with updates, insights, and relevant IP legal precedents

• Regular case studies to help you learn from real-world examples

• Invitations to Ideas Union events to connect with other creative, inventive professionals

• Opportunities to contribute articles or insights to our newsletters and blog

Registration of a Comcept / Commercial Idea US$ 1,000 per Comcept*. 

Your Comcept™ Registration Includes:

• Global database registration with a unique registration number

• Date- and time-stamped records for clear proof of creation

• Secure storage of all supporting material, including NDAs, emails, photos, sketches, whiteboards, drafts, call notes, and video recordings.

Anything that may be used as evidence in a legal dispute can be stored in your digital vault.

Storage Allowance

Each Comcept™ includes 100GB of secure storage. If you need more, we can expand your vault for a small additional fee.

Support & Services

Members receive access to free legal guidance and negotiation assistance (charged as 25% of a successful outcome, only where we have been actively involved).

Always include your Comcept™ registration number in the footer of relevant documents to strengthen your protection.

Corporate Member: $50,000 USD

For a company (or government department/ngo etc) with more than 1,000 staff. Covers 12 months membership from day of joining.  (IU recognises large companies own commercial ideas which are sometimes stolen by partners or ex-employees.)

This membership allows for global registration, storage of commercial information and ‘free’ (@25% of ‘win’) negotiation services, but does not cover legal expenses in case of dispute. (Logic being that a company /department of size can afford their own legals.) So IU enables those who own the idea to defend their asset.
